Position Overview:
As the Executive Manager – Sales, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing sales initiatives. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with leadership to set revenue goals, forecasts, and performance benchmarks.
- Identify key markets, growth areas, and customer needs to drive sales initiatives.
- Business Development and Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, enterprise clients, and untapped markets.
- Generate leads through effective networking, market research, and outreach.
- Design and oversee sales pitches, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Understand client requirements, provide tailored solutions, and act as their trusted advisor.
- Regularly engage with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Sales Performance Monitoring
- Track and analyze sales metrics, pipeline performance, and revenue growth.
- Develop actionable insights and reports to measure progress against KPIs.
- Continuously refine sales strategies to optimize performance and achieve targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales strategies with organizational objectives.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on client needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with finance teams for pricing strategies, contracts, and revenue management.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver results and exceed targets.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct training sessions to upskill team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct regular market analysis to understand trends, competitive dynamics, and customer demands.
- Use insights to refine sales strategies and strengthen ITCart’s market positioning.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the IT or technology industry.
- Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of B2B sales, account management, and lead generation strategies.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in sales analytics, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- CRM Tools: Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM.
- Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a sales team to achieve goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
